The Performance Pad conveniently organizes its functionalities across seven primary pages:

  1. Mass & Balance (Weight & Balance) Page
  2. Calculates center of gravity, moments, takeoff weight, and zero fuel weight based on user input. Quickly set passenger and baggage weights using sliders; verify CG limits through graphical representations including Moment Envelope, CG Envelope, and aircraft axis diagrams.
  3. Takeoff Page
  4. Employs POH data to compute ground roll and landing distances considering variables such as aircraft weight, pressure altitude, density altitude, outside air temperature (OAT), altimeter settings, runway surface conditions, slope, and wind conditions. Includes a Wind Components Calculator allowing pilots to determine headwind or tailwind components by adjusting wind direction and speed; results seamlessly integrate into performance calculations.
  5. Climb Page
  6. Calculates climb time, required fuel consumption, and distance based on altitude differences, pressure settings, OAT, and wind components. Presents climb rate and speed metrics for comprehensive assessment.
  7. Cruise Page
  8. Determines optimal cruise altitude utilizing trip distance, flight level preferences, MAP/RPM settings, temperature, wind conditions, and pressure altitude data derived from the POH.
  9. Landing Page
  10. Estimates ground roll and landing distance considering wind factors and environmental conditions. Features a Wind Components Calculator similar to the takeoff page for efficient wind component assessment during landing planning.
  11. Stall Speed Page
  12. Calculates stall speeds at various bank angles and flap configurations, providing values in both KIAS and KCAS based on POH data.
  13. Setup
  14. Saves up to five aircraft configurations or scenarios for quick recall. Sends mass & balance summaries via email directly from the app. Accesses instructional video tutorials and manuals through linked resources.

The software features mode toggles for enhanced usability:

  • "Individual Mode": Performs independent calculations without inter-page data transfer.
  • "Plan Mode": Transfers calculated data between pages and offers a comprehensive "Flight Summary" overview for integrated planning.
